I totally forget to talk a about this nice week end between the french mountains in the Heart of the Drome .
At the beginning of the Spring time we decided to leave Lyon and drive to the hills. With Papy(Olivier) , Mathias , Vincent and Lyde we passed a nice week end through the nature , camped at Valdrome and found a nice spot to chill on ! very nice time ! We made a loops to the Col de l’Espigoulier , a really anthology track in France (remember Supaflex movie) !!!!
Jo Pan a beaucoup d’imagination et cette fois-ci c’est d’une manière très religieuse qu’il entame son premier numéro de ses nouvelles éditions LAW series. Bien évidemment je ne m’attendais pas à une intro proche de la canonisation mais c’est original et comme d’habitude de la part de Pan très poétique .
Jo Pan has a lot of imagination and this it’s by a very religious way that he begins his first edit from his new LAW series. Obviously i wasn’t expecting an introduction close to the canonization but it’s original and as always from Pan it’s very Poetic .

Wanted to ride one more time the spot of the igsa leg 2010-09 Graveyard Call named by the frenchies as D173. Until i paid my road out by a niiiice twisted ankle and a really cute skin’n burn on it ! So YUMMY ….. !!! I think that bobeepcrashnburn will be compromised …
I was so stoked to come back in a Alsace downhill’s event ! This association always organise super event with super food and super party on the nice spot of Climont Station near Urbeis. This year , while the Climont’s road wears a new asphalt, they decided to organise a freeride on another track to enjoy the 10th birthday of the association. Schedule : freeride and great party.
We leaved Lyon lately tuesday evening with Philippe and Lyde and drived arround 5 hours to join Barr’s town. Arrived in the night we found the campground with people still awake . Tired because travel we decided to sleep fast and be well standing for tomorrow.
At the morning we discovered the road. Old and slidy asphalt .The track wasn’t fast and technical but treater in their curves because of the asphalt , Lyde’s foot remembers.. After her crash and an evening in the closest hospital , i returned to WunderBarr’s where the party was at the top. The music was really killing but i was tired and didnt enjoyed the night.
Saturday , back on the road , faster than yesterday but still careful because of the numerous people and wet road . The runs were really long and few numerous because the road was opened to the car at each back up.
Saturday night was a really nice party with friends (if we forget the reggae show).There were a slide demonstration regrettably interrupted by a bad crash (the guy broke his ankle ..yeurk !!!)
The food was amazing !!!!
Sunday i decided to taste the FlyingPan dropped (thx rufli) , really fel it good , i have to get one :D !! The day finished really fast and we leaved the event more hungry of ride.

Lyde was rippin it at WunderBarr freeride until she fell because of a beginner’s mistake. The asphalt was slidy and traitor and she didnt take care about her line on one turn . She has been deported of her line and their back wheels slide near the bank and she crashed from all her length head first . The helmet jumped from her head when she shocked , then she gone out of the road .
We were all frightened by the fact that she loses her helmet while she crashed but no trauma hopefully ! However she broke a bone of her heel in some little piece .
We wait all evening long at the emergency for the diagnostic . Lyde slept at the hospital then was repatriated in Lyon with an ambulance on Saturday afternoon.
She has to rest 8 weeks before to walk normally again .
Be proud Lyde !!!
